Long-term experience with DENSOLEN tape

Technical properties in accordance with relevant material standards and long term performance are the most important properties of corrosion protective coating materials.

by Dr. Michael Quast

Accelerated ageing tests give an idea of the ageing behaviour of coatings, but can not replace real field experience. Such practical knowledge can be obtained from pipe segments, which have been excavated for rehabilitation, maintenance or new construction. Additional information on long term behaviour of coating materials can be gained from testing of long term stored material. The following report describes corresponding long term experience with DENSOLEN-Tape S40.
