Dr. J. Hobohm:
I am thrilled to be a speaker at the 5th Graz Battery Days, taking place from May 26th to 28th, 2025, in Graz, Austria! This year’s theme, "A Sustainable Battery Value Chain as Competitive Advantage for the European Economy?”, will bring together international experts to discuss how sustainability and competitiveness can go hand in hand in the battery sector.
As Managing Director of Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem Servicegesellschaft mbH I am excited to contribute to this discussion with my talk:
"Next-Gen LFP Battery Recycling: Innovations, Challenges, and the Path to Sustainability”
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries play an increasingly important role in energy storage and e-mobility, but their recycling poses unique challenges. In my session, I will explore:
- Innovative recycling technologies for LFP batteries
- Key challenges in material recovery and circularity
- The path forward to a truly sustainable battery economy
This event is a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas with industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers who are shaping the future of battery technology. Let’s work together to push for sustainable solutions and strengthen Europe’s leadership in the battery sector!
