4 out of 5 People Globally Want Stonger Climate Action by their Governments

The world's largest survey on climate change, The People's Climate Vote 2024, found out what people around the world think about climate change.

The survey was applyed across 77 countries, 75,000 people and in 87 different languages. The survey consisted of 15 questions and was conducted for UNDP with the University of Oxofrd, UK and GeoPoll.

Some of the survey's results showed that:

86% people agreed to countries putting differences aside and tackle climate change.
72% of people globally said they want their country to move away from fossil fuels to clean energy quickly.
81% of people want their country to protect and restore nature.
