Together for Europe: Citizens increasingly feel compelled to get involved in campaigns

In view of the urgent need for action which the reports of the "Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)" on climate change issue with great regularity, many citizens of this world are disappointed about the real possibilities for action even of well-meaning politicians. For this reason many citizens organize themselves in international campaigns and initiatives.
WeMove shows itself on its website as non-partisan, democratic and pro-European with a truly topical issue. Reason enough to present this initiative to you today:
"We are polluting the world with our plastic.Unfortunately, the EU - apart from all the appeals - is still one of the largest exporters of plastic waste in the world and causes great damage to the environment and human health. Therefore, the EU must ban all exports of plastic waste to countries outside the Union and introduce additional safeguards for shipments within the EU. So that people's health and the environment are protected."
