Detailed description of working activity

Prof. Jong Ryeol Kim is a Civil Engineer, holding a PhD degree in Civil Engineering, as well as a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering and a Construction Management Professional. He has published more than 100 technical papers in academic journals and conferences, and has 2 technical books to his credit. Furthermore, he has been a reviewer for more than 10 academic journals. He has contributed to develop 5 successful construction technologies (officially designated as “New Korean Excellent Technology Patents”). He has been acting as a project proposal evaluator for National Research Foundation of Korea, Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement, Korea Institute of Construction Technology, and Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute. He had also been acting as an advisory member for the Ministry of Security and Public Administration (South Korea); the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (South Korea); the Ministry of Environment (South Korea); FHWA (USA); Department of Transportation (Minnesota, Hawaii and Illinois) and other government agencies.
