M.Sc. Sarah A. Foster
Ms. Foster is a Principal and Founding Partner of the scientific consulting firm CPF Associates, LLC. She has more than 30 years of consulting experience in the environmental health science field. Her work focuses on developing strategies for and conducting health and environmental assessments of waste management technologies, industrial facilities and waste sites. She has managed or performed over 100 comprehensive risk assessment projects and other types of health and odor evaluation studies for waste-to-energy facilities, municipal solid waste and hazardous waste landfills, hazardous waste incinerators, transfer stations and contaminated sites. She has extensive experience in strategic assessment approach development, multiple chemical, multiple pathway risk assessment, assessment of public health, occupational and odor impacts based on environmental and workplace monitoring data, risk and exposure assessment of indoor water uses, environmental fate and transport modeling, and risk communication.

Previously, Ms. Foster was a Managing Consultant with The Weinberg Group, a Project Manager at the Clement Division of ICF/Kaiser, an Environmental Analyst with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Policy Analysis, and a researcher for the Harvard Public Health School's Six City Study.
